Like our athletes, we still haven't answered exactly how far, how fast or how long we can push ourselves. That's why we spend each and every day pushing the limits of materials, design and weight of each bike frame. Quintana Roo bicycles are created specifically for triathlons, so it is only appropriate that Quintana Roo bikes are designed, built and most importantly tested by seasoned tri athletes Tri-specific bikes have unique features as compared to a standard road racing bicycle. Simply bolting on a few triathlon components to a road bike will severely limit one's performance. That is why we design bikes with a precise geometry that places riders in a more aerodynamic position by allowing less exposed chest area and a flatter back. This geometry also creates a more efficient pedaling position to help preserve legs for the running leg of the race.
When we begin designing a bike, our engineers are given a blank canvas on which to create. They are not confined by material selection or preconceived notions of what the perfect bike should be. The result: masterpieces like the amazing Ti-Phoon are transformed into reality. In the process of creating the optimum triathlon ride, our designers also give great consideration to developing bikes that are able to take full advantage of the latest tri-specific components such as aero bars, forks, and wheels. Through the intelligent use of tube shapes and materials, all of out frames are designed to have enhanced aerodynamic properties and a comfortable ride, because we understand that a harsh ride amplifies fatigue. Quintana Roo bicycles create perfect harmony between frame, component and tri athlete Since our first tri-specific bike was created in 1989, there have been 28 Ironman titles, numerous world and national championships and endless regional and local victories achieved on Quintana Roo bikes. The result of our evolution and winning achievements is the most trusted line of triathlon specific bikes on the course.
